Plitvice Lakes
An absolutely wonderful place, an amazingly beautiful national park, created by nature in a mountainous area from forests, cascades of lakes, connected by waterfalls, meadows. Rich flora and fauna. Transparent water, herds of fish, birdsong. An unforgettable experience.
Swimming, picking herbs, and making fires are prohibited in the park. In general, we only walk along permitted hiking trails and enjoy nature. There are walking routes from 2 hours to 6 hours. The territory is huge. In some places you can get around by river tram and road train.
The national park is protected by UNESCO. Open all year round. In frosty, snowy winters, it is interesting to observe an exotic phenomenon – frozen waterfalls. It is difficult to convey these beauties in words. Better to see for yourself once.
